Missouri Injury Clinic has no Illinois location, and this guide will not pretend otherwise. What it has is three Missouri offices, and from Granite City, Collinsville, Belleville, Edwardsville, or Columbia, at least one of them is a single bridge crossing away. This guide maps that trip and explains why it is worth making the week of your crash.

Which bridge, which office

The honest geography, crossing by crossing.

Four ways across, three offices
  1. I-270US 67

    Chain of Rocks and Clark: north county

    Granite City, Pontoon Beach, Edwardsville, Glen Carbon, Wood River, Alton, Godfrey. I-270 crosses on the Chain of Rocks and keeps going west; US 67 drops down from the Clark Bridge as Lindbergh. The Hazelwood office is on that side of the county. For most of Madison County this is the straight line.

  2. I-70I-55I-64

    Stan Musial and Poplar Street: the core

    Collinsville, Troy, Fairview Heights, Belleville, Swansea, O'Fallon (Illinois), Shiloh, Scott Air Force Base. The downtown bridges land you in the city, and from there you choose: I-70 north toward Hazelwood, or I-55 south toward Tesson Ferry. Pick the end of St. Louis County you already know.

    Jefferson Barracks: south county

    Columbia, Waterloo, Dupo, Millstadt, Cahokia Heights, the south end of Belleville. I-255 crosses on the JB Bridge and the beltway becomes I-270 past I-55; the Tesson Ferry Road exit comes soon after. The South County office is the office for Monroe County.

    The long one: O'Fallon, Missouri

    The clinic's third office is in St. Charles County, across the Missouri River on I-70. It is the longest drive of the three from anywhere on the east bank, and the right choice only if your week already runs out toward Wentzville. It is not the O'Fallon on I-64.

Why cross a river for an exam

Because the exam is worth the drive, and the delay is not worth the savings.

Crash injuries harden with time. A neck that could have been treated in week one becomes a neck that is managed in month three. A documented exam this week starts treatment and starts the record in the same visit, while a clinician can still see what the crash did and write it down with a date on it.

The record is a care document first. It exists so the next clinician works from facts, not memory. If a claim is ever part of your story, the dated record from the first exam is what everyone will ask for. You do not need to have decided anything about a claim before you get examined.

One clarification, again

There are two O'Fallons. The clinic's is the Missouri one.

Missouri Injury Clinic lists an office in O'Fallon, and half of St. Clair County hears the name and thinks of the one on I-64. It is the other one: O'Fallon, Missouri, in St. Charles County on I-70, the longest drive of the three from anywhere on the east bank. This guide will keep saying so, because a guide that blurs geography is not a guide. Read the clarification, or skip it and use the offices page, which sorts every Metro East town to Hazelwood or Tesson Ferry.
